Palmers Haircare Product Review

I would love to introduce you to (if you’ve not heard of this wonderful brand before) Palmers! I’ve been using their conditioning shampoo for some time so I was super excited when Fuel PR sent me a package containing lots of their other haircare products.

Palmers are all for utilising sustainable ingredients to create luxurious natural products. The formula of the following products consist of ethically sourced Coconut Oil and Tahitian Monoi, infused with Tiare flower petals.

One of my favourite products that I’ve loved testing out has been the ‘Leave-in Conditioner’ spray. I love having an extra step with my haircare, especially when I don’t have much time to do so. The leave in conditioner is best applied when hair has been freshly washed and is still slightly damp. I apply it to the lengths of my hair to prevent my hair looking dry. My hair is very combination, due to the fact I have a fringe I wash my hair most days (the grease) and due to my balayage, the length of my hair has been left feeling drier than I’m used to (or would like).

This has been just the kind of repairing tool I needed! It’s a 10 second step to get your hair ready for that harsh heated blow dry. It really has made a big difference.

One of the best things about Palmers (in my opinion) is their emphasis on creating a natural formula. These products contain no suphates, phthalates, mineral oil, gluten or dyes and are rich in Vitamin E. The raw, natural ingredients deeply hydrate, repair damage and give the hair incredible shine. Therefore perfect for my regularly dyed hair.

As a coeliac (meaning I have to completely avoid gluten in my diet) I am happy to hear that these products are completely gluten free. I have to admit I have no idea if the gluten in products affects me like consuming gluten would, but it can’t be good for my body. If you didn’t know, Sulphates actually damage coloured hair, I’m so surprised when I read a label of a ‘colour protect’ shampoo and it contains Sulphates as one of the main ingredients, erm no thanks!

I will 100% be repurchasing these beauties. I think the combination works really well and I have noticed a significant difference with my hair. I think it has really helped level out my hair, making it noticeably less dry.

I’ve not spoken about the scent yet but it’s lush, it’s not overpoweringly coconut but gives you a subtle aroma. I feel refreshed after using their products that’s for sure.

So have you tried Palmers before? What are your favourite products of theirs?

I would love to invest in some more of their range!

Thanks for reading,
